Emergency Gas Repairs

If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency line first on 0800 111 999. It’s free and open 24 hours. Turn the gas off at the meter if it’s safe to do so, open the windows, and don’t use naked flames or flick any switches.

The emergency service will make the property safe, but they won’t fix the fault. That’s the bit we do. Once they’ve been, give us a call and we’ll get an engineer out to find the problem and repair it, so you’re not stuck without heating or hot water any longer than you have to be.

Boiler Repairs
No heating, no hot water, error codes, pressure dropping, or a boiler that keeps switching itself off. Boiler faults are the jobs we get called to most. Our engineers work on all the main brands and carry common parts in the van, so a lot of repairs get sorted in one visit.
Gas Leak Detection & Repair
Once the emergency service has isolated your supply, we come in and find where the leak actually is, whether that's in the pipework or an appliance. We fix it, test the whole system, and only turn the gas back on once we know it's safe.
Gas Cooker & Hob Repairs
Burners that won't light, won't stay lit, or burn with a weird flame. A smell of gas when you're cooking. We repair and safety check gas cookers and hobs, and we can disconnect or reconnect them if you're moving house or getting a new one.
Gas Fire Repairs
If your gas fire won't light, the pilot light keeps going out, or it's just not throwing out heat like it used to, we'll find the fault and fix it. We'll check the flue and ventilation while we're there too.
Central Heating Repairs
Cold radiators, banging pipes, a broken pump, or controls that do nothing when you press them. We repair the whole heating system, not just the boiler, so the house actually heats up the way it should.
Gas Pipework Repairs
Old, corroded or badly installed pipework is a risk. We repair and replace faulty gas pipes, upgrade supply pipes that are too small for the job, and move pipe runs if you need them somewhere else. Everything gets tested before we sign it off.

Depends where you are and how busy we are, but urgent jobs come first, especially anything safety related or if you've got no heating and hot water. Call us and we'll tell you honestly when we can be there.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes, all of them. It's a legal requirement for anyone doing gas work in the UK. You can check our registration on the Gas Safe Register website, and our engineers will show you their ID card when they arrive.
How much does a gas repair cost?
It depends on what's wrong. A simple fix costs less than a job that needs parts, so we diagnose first and give you a clear price before anything starts. If you'd rather not go ahead, that's fine.
