Gas Appliance Installation Across Scotland

Getting a new boiler, cooker, hob or gas fire? The fitting matters just as much as the appliance. A bad install can mean leaks, poor performance, a voided warranty, or worse. Our Gas Safe registered engineers install gas appliances properly across Scotland, covering Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness and the areas around them.

We fit the appliance, sort the pipework, test everything, and hand you the paperwork that proves it was done right. You’ll get a price before we start and nothing gets connected until it’s been checked and confirmed safe.

Why the Installer Matters

By law, anyone installing a gas appliance in the UK has to be Gas Safe registered. It’s not optional, and it’s not a formality. A gas appliance fitted by someone unregistered is illegal, dangerous, and can void your insurance and the manufacturer’s warranty.

Every one of our engineers is Gas Safe registered for the work they carry out, and they’ll show you their ID card when they arrive. You can also check our registration yourself on the Gas Safe Register website before you book.

What We Install

Boiler Installation
New boilers supplied and fitted, or we can install one you've already bought. We'll advise on the right size for your home, handle the pipework and flue, register the installation, and make sure the warranty paperwork is sorted so you're covered.
Gas Cooker Installation
New cooker fitting, including disconnecting and removing the old one if you need us to. We connect it, test for leaks, check the flame, and make sure it's sitting safely with the right clearances around it.
Gas Hob Installation
Whether it's a straight swap or a new kitchen layout, we'll connect your hob, run or adjust the pipework as needed, and test everything before you cook on it.
Gas Fire Installation
Gas fires need the right flue, the right ventilation and the right clearances, so this is one job you definitely don't want done on the cheap. We install fires safely, test the flue, and check the room has the ventilation it needs.
Gas Pipework for New Appliances
Sometimes the appliance is the easy bit and the pipework is the real job. We run new gas supplies, extend or reroute existing pipes, and upgrade pipework that's too small for a new appliance, all tested before anything gets switched on.
Appliance Disconnection & Removal
Moving house, replacing an appliance, or getting rid of an old gas fire? We'll disconnect it safely and cap the supply properly, so there's no live gas pipe sitting open behind your kitchen units.

How It Works

Gas Repair FAQs

Can I install a gas appliance myself?
No. Gas work in the UK legally has to be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. A DIY gas install is dangerous, illegal, and will void your insurance and warranty. Even "just connecting" a cooker counts as gas work.
Can you fit an appliance I bought myself?
Yes. Buy your boiler, cooker, hob or fire wherever you like and we'll install it. Tell us the make and model when you book so we can quote accurately and bring the right fittings.
Do I get a certificate after installation?
You'll get the documentation confirming the install was carried out and tested by a Gas Safe registered engineer. For boilers, the installation also gets registered, which you'll need for the warranty and if you ever sell the house.
Will you remove my old appliance?
We can disconnect your old appliance safely and cap the supply.
How much does gas appliance installation cost?
It depends on the appliance and how much pipework is involved. A straight swap costs less than an install that needs new gas supply runs. We'll quote before anything starts, so you can decide with the full price in front of you.
How long does an installation take?
A like-for-like cooker or hob swap is usually a quick job. A boiler install or anything needing new pipework takes longer. We'll give you an idea of timing when we quote.
